Yann Salmoiraghi

Originally from the Beauce region, south of Paris, I was able to go hunting with my grandfather and father from the age of five. The day I turned 16, I obtained my hunting licence and since then, hunting has become my passion. For me, hunting is a way of sharing, being together, discovering nature and learning about animal behaviour. I hunt a lot of small migratory game with my faithful Pita setter, but I also hunt American golden plovers in the fields of Beauce. In summer I also travel around the southwest in search of the little prince, the red deer, and to chase foxes. I also travel the world a bit, discovering hunts that I cannot do in France, but above all developing my knowledge of the hunting world through the habits of local hunters. Being a hunter is not just a passion, it is a way of life.
